I still remembering helping my kids when they were little get their Valentines ready for school. At that time it was the ready-made little cards that you bought in a pack and they were all the same. Fast forward to now, how amazing that we can now let Cricut help color your Valentine for family and friends.
How special will they feel to receive a fun, creative card made just for them. AND best of all you can have the kids involved in selecting the characters, color of crayons and putting them together. So let the fun begin!
Supplies Needed – find all of your Cricut supplies here
1. Cardstock in the color of your choice
2. White Cardstock
3. Cricut Pens (I use black and red); you can also use other pens if they fit in the adapter
4. Glue
5. Crayons
6. Design Space File – click below to access this and other great resources
Once you open the file you can draw as is and you would just hit Make It to send to your Cricut. If you decide to change the images; you will have to ungroup the entire project and detach the items on the white cardstock. You can then input your new image, saying and reattach those items before cutting. Make sure you change your image from cut to draw; that will create the outline for coloring.
Once you have everything done, watch my video here to show you how I assemble it all together.
I hope you have as much fun as I did making these; I may not have school-aged children any more, but I now have grandkids that I will now let my Cricut help me color Valentine for them!
