Who doesnโt love weddings. When youโre in love and newly engaged the world seems brighter, more fun and you have that special spouse-to-be glow about you. You want to tell the world and there is so much to do. So why not create a Wedding DIY Countdown Sign – a fun way to keep track of the days until you say I DO!
If youโre already a spouse but have a friend who is newly engaged, why not surprise them with this great DIY keepsake.
If youโre not crafty, donโt despair, I provide you a second option below to create your DIY Wedding Countdown Sign that you can prepare.
I swear I don’t know why everything above is rhyming, BUT I LIKE IT!
Here are instructions to create your sign using your Cricut machine.
Supplies Needed
1. Cricut Machine
2. Vinyl color of your choice – I used pink, white and silver
3. Transfer tape
4. Weeding tool
5. Chalkboard or surface of your choice
It’s so simple and fun; here’s a tutorial video showing you how you can create this file in Cricut Design space.
BONUS – I use examples of both Contour and the Slice feature in this video
I love this pedestal chalkboard. I purchased it at Hobby Lobby while on sale and itโs so versatile.
Well I hope you enjoyed making this adorable sign with your Cricut. BUT it’s not over. As promised for those of you that do not have a Cricut I’ve attached a free file below that you can print and frame using these instructions.
Printable Version
Supplies Needed
1. 5×7 frame
2. Dry erase marker
3. Baby wipe or other glass cleaner
4. My free .pdf printout below
5. Scissors
6. 8 ยฝ x 11 paper
7. Color printer
8. Embellishments of your choice
This is as simple as 1….2….3
1. Print out the FREE file below. Make sure to use a color printer.
2. Cut around the edges using the corner markers as a guide
3. Frame it in your 5×7 frame.
Note: I used an 8 x 10 with a mat so that it had a nice border around it.
Once youโre done you can embellish it with flowers or other accents. I used rose embellishments from the Recollection’s collection at Michaelโs.
Once framed you can use the dry erase marker or other erasable pen to jot down the number of the day. Itโ so easy to just wipe it down every day and count it down.
I would love for you to share a picture if you either made it with your Cricut or if you printed and framed it. Make sure to tag me on IG or share over in my ACraftyLatina FB group so everyone can see your great work.
What brings me joy more than anything is seeing your projects and how creative you are.
As always, feel free to comment below, ask any question or provide suggestions. Until next time...Love What You Do and Do What You Love.
